| it was early june 2K2 when the laws of science and nature were put to the test | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| cast your mind for a moment... |
| an innocent car, headed west on american way ran off the road and straight into an unmarked, difficult to see, 8 story tall MLGW power tower. while the victim's car was severely damaged, perpetrating tower still had 3 perfectly good legs to stand on. |
|
|
| from here you can see where the unprovoked attack on the car took place. |
| in just 3 short weeks, the engineers @ MLGW were on the scene to ascertain what should be done about this potentially dangerous situation. |

| MLGW's solution was not to "fix" the leaning tower of american way, but rather improve on it's overall structural integrity by integrating in some new, but more natural, materials that would help the structure blend in with the overall landscape along american way. | ![]() |

| with this "cell phone tower disguised as a tree" mentality, the engineers @ MLGW drilled a hole, installed a natural wood telephone poll, attached a cable with a lasso on the end and pulled out the slack. next a guide wire was cemented into the ground to keep the telephone pole from leaning. this technique has been used in the past to save such treasures as the leaning tower of pisa in italy. |

|
| it has been almost 2 months now and the "fix" job appears to be working quite well. stay tuned to richardvining.com for updates on the situation as we try to determine if... or when the tower strikes again. |
